AJW Group appoints Deepak Sharma as chief technical officer

The AJW Board of Directors has appointed Deepak Sharma to the position of chief technical officer for AJW Group.

In addition to supervising the streamlining and expansion of the Company’s MRO and Technical capabilities, Sharma will now be the executive director responsible for AJW Singapore.

It is envisaged that he will be based in the Singapore office for much of the year using that as his base for the development of AJW’s increasingly flexible strategic relationships with leading airlines in the region, including Air New Zealand.

With overall responsibility for AJW Aviation’s technical and inventory departments, the existing repair management division, vendor management, and warranties across the entire organisation; Sharma also manages AJW Technique’s fast-growing global Customer Service activities

Sharma has over 19 years’ experience within the aviation industry. As Technical Director of the AJW Aviation division since 2008, he has developed the Technical Support, Inventory Management and Warranty functions of the business.
