Annette Rothwell appointed to the Board of Velocity Composites

Supplier of advanced composite material kits to the aerospace market, Velocity Composites plc, has appointed Annette Rothwell to the Board as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.

Annette Rothwell (above) has extensive experience working as a senior leader in industries undergoing transformational change. Since 2006, she has served in executive roles supporting CEOs at a number of global companies, including BAE Systems and Rolls Royce.  She is a proven leader in General Management, Procurement and Supply Chain, Operational Excellence (CI) and Project Management working with senior stakeholders, including regional and national governments.

Annette has wide-ranging experience of managing supply chains, and has been responsible for procurement, supply chain activity, and operational improvement in many companies.  

Since 2011, she has served as a director on the board of the Midlands Aerospace Alliance, the regional body for the Aerospace, Defence and Security industry.
