Bond signs new contract with EnQuest

Bond Offshore Helicopters Ltd (Bond) today announced that it has been awarded a new contract with EnQuest PLC, the largest UK independent oil producer in the UK North Sea.

The contract is for up to 10 years and it will provide crew change flights for EnQuest out of Aberdeen Airport. Services are due to begin on 1 May 2013, using a Sikorsky S-92 aircraft.

The aircraft is the second of 16 ordered by Bond’s parent company Avincis Group in 2011 and will initially operate under an arrangement with Bond’s sister company Norsk Helikopterservice (NHS).

Luke Farajallah, managing director, Bond Offshore Helicopters, said: “We are delighted to announce our first contract with EnQuest. Richard Mintern, chief executive officer, Northern Europe and Asia Pacific, Avincis Group said: “This win is the latest in a successful run for Bond following a number of new contracts recently awarded this year. Once again, Bond has been able to draw on the central resources of both the Avincis Group, as well as its Norwegian sister company NHS, in order to provide the best service for EnQuest once the service commences in May”.
