This week the company also announced five new strategic clients: Hydrosat, Catalyst, University of Edinburgh, STFC and Fire Arrow.

Established in 2019, AstroAgency has supported over 70 commercial and government organisations internationally across marketing, business development, and market support, boasting a client roster featuring names such as Spire, ClearSpace, NovaSpace (formerly Euroconsult), the UK Space Agency, Austrade, RAL Space, the European Space Agency Business Incubation Centres UK and many more.

Commenting on the two latest milestones, serial space entrepreneur and founder of AstroAgency Daniel Smith, said: “Our approach at AstroAgency has always been to use our team’s broad experience of working in the space sector to demonstrate to clients that we not only understand the industry’s niche challenges and opportunities, but are working alongside them as a fellow space company to raise awareness in the daily benefits that their technology and innovation brings to businesses, society and the environment. As we continue to grow, the announcement of new clients and an additional UK location ensures our 2024 target of expansion locally and internationally is very much on track.”

AstroAgency was a sponsor of last month’s 6th Summit for Space Sustainability in Tokyo, with the company exploring a physical presence in the region and soon expected to add Asia-based clients to those secured throughout Europe, North America and the Gulf. A previous supporter and speaker at the Summit, the company’s participation is symbolic of its dedication to the positive influence the space industry can have on Earth, with satellite-driven data applications supporting a plethora of industry sectors, from energy and maritime to finance and conservation. While visiting Tokyo, AstroAgency Ukrainian COO Daria Filichkina, the latest recipient of the UK’s prestigious Arthur C. Clarke Space Individual Award, was invited to speak on stage by Japan’s SpaceTide industry association providing her views on the importance of growing inclusivity and diversity in the sector.

Following AstroAgency's recent project with the University of Southampton, it has secured a new academic contract as part of the UKSA project focused on skills development. The initiative, entitled Space Bridges: Facilitating Future Space Careers, is funded by the UK Space Agency and will see the University of Edinburgh and Fife College deliver new courses that upskill and inspire a future space workforce. The courses will be aimed at a range of audiences, from technically minded school leavers, to experienced professionals looking to transition into the space sector, as well as those who may be seeking additional specialised knowledge to advance their space industry careers.
  • Science and Technology Facilities Council’s Higgs Centre for Innovation
AstroAgency’s portfolio of work for STFC has broadened with the addition of a project to support the Higgs Centre for Innovation in relaunching its space sector environmental testing facilities. Gemma Wilson, Harwell Space Cluster Development Manager, said: “I am delighted AstroAgency now has a base on Campus and is officially part of the Harwell Space Cluster.  Harwell is truly a multidisciplinary site and the range of organisations that work both in space and across adjacent sectors adds to our thriving ecosystem. I am sure they will be a great fit for both the Cluster and the whole community – welcome AstroAgency.”

At its new base at the Harwell Science and Innovation’s Space Cluster, AstroAgency will join over 100 companies and 1,400 employees working across the UK’s space industry. Harwell’s Space Cluster contributes £5.7 billion to the British economy and is home to some of the leading space organisations in the UK and Europe, including multiple AstroAgency partners.
