Babcock awarded DCTT electro-mechanical training contract

The Electro-mechanical Training Contract (EMTC2) extension, worth circa £22 million, involves the annual delivery of courses to around 5,000 students from the tri-Services.
Through the contract, Babcock will continue to provide services such as the design, planning, scheduling and delivery of training and support to more than 2,500 pieces of equipment, including weapons and tanks and multimedia development.
The company has been delivering training to the DCTT for more than 10 years, employing more than 300 people at the Ministry of Defence Lyneham and HMS Sultan.
