The partnership was launched during an educational visit by ASI students to RAF Wittering, where they had the opportunity to meet with Babcock’s air traffic control team and aviation maintenance technicians to learn more about the industry.

Chloe Barker, Managing Director of Babcock’s UK aviation business, said: “Collaboration between industry and education is so important in supporting young people entering the workplace. Our partnership with the ASI will enable us to create a path for students to explore a practical, hands-on career in aviation, while continuing their education and building on an exciting career path.”

Babcock will help support our students through their studies and offer potential routes for employment or apprenticeship training as the partnership develops.”
