BAE Systems appoint Stuart Osborne director of global security

BAE Systems have announced the appointment of Stuart Osborne as director of global security with effect from 29 July 2013, succeeding Mike McGinty who recently retired.

Stuart joins BAE Systems following a career spanning 31 years with the Metropolitan Police where he most recently held the post of Deputy Assistant Commissioner.

Stuart has held uniform and detective posts at all levels of the police force and has worked extensively with military and law enforcement agencies both within the UK and internationally.

In his new role Stuart will be responsible for security matters across the BAE Systems Group.
