BeaverFit delivers fire training facility for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service

The BeaverFit team were commissioned to enhance the reactive capabilities of the fire officers ensuring that they are better prepared to face a wide range of challenges that come with modern firefighting.
The carbonaceous facility has been designed to improve the fire team’s mental and physical reactive capabilities allowing them to train for as many risks as possible, maximising preparation and minimising uncertainty. The facility contains multiple training options, offering the Suffolk Fire and Rescue team critical, simulative realistic training scenarios that simulate real-life emergency situations.
BeaverFit designed, manufactured and installed the multi-storey hyper-realistic carbonaceous facility in just a few weeks. It comprises of high-temperature burn chambers, roof and staircase gantries, heatproof block flooring and modular internal structures to enable a multitude of practical training activities including flash over, backdraught and working at heights.

The Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service will benefit from real-life exercises, in practical scenarios such as live-action and situational activities. Alongside this, the carbonaceous facility will allow the department to offer the best possible training to their recruits and further advance their fire officers skills and reactive capability.
