Bristol Airport - one of the region’s largest private sector employers - is hosting a careers fair next month with more than 150 jobs on offer.

The event on Thursday 5th March, which coincides with National Careers Week, will have representatives from the Airport and 14 of its business partners on hand, from operations, security, airlines, retail and food and beverage providers.

Bristol Airport hosts careers fairs twice a year and the last one in September 2025 saw more than 200 people attend.

The Airport now has more than 5,800 employees with 70% of staff living within a 20-mile radius. One of the benefits of working at the Airport is free staff travel on key passenger bus services including the A1 Flyer to and from Bristol via Bedminster, A3 Flyer to and from Weston-super-Mare via Worle, Congresbury and Cleeve and the A4 Air Decker to and from Bath via Saltford, Keynsham and Hengrove.

Bristol is the only UK airport to offer free travel to employees, supporting more sustainable commuting and reducing road traffic.

Cherie Marchant, People Director at Bristol Airport, said: “With more than 150 vacancies available across Bristol Airport and our 50 plus business partners who are based here, it couldn’t be a better time to come and visit us and find out more.

“We have such a wide range of vacancies and hours to suit most lifestyles. So whether you’re looking for part-time work that fits around family commitments or study or full-time or perhaps even a complete career change, we’d love to meet you and discuss future opportunities.

“If you’re ready for your career to take off or fancy a new direction in a fast-paced environment then pop along.”

The event, on Thursday 5th March officially starts at 10.30am, however, as with previous years a quiet session starts at 9.30am. The careers fair is taking place at Lulsgate House (BS48 3DW). Free parking is available as well as subsidised travel on the A1 and A3 Flyer buses, just present the careers fair entrance ticket to the driver.
