Cellcrypt partners with Fixmo on secure iPhone and Android comms

Cellcrypt - provider of encrypted voice calling and messaging for cell phones and other mobile devices - today announced that it is partnering with Fixmo Inc. to provide an enhanced secure voice and messaging application for iOS and Android mobile devices to operate within the Fixmo SafeZone secure workspace.

The partnership enables government agencies and enterprises to empower their employees with real-time collaboration and private voice calling on the latest iPhone and Android smartphones without compromising security, integrity or compliance.

Cellcrypt’s flagship product, Cellcrypt Mobile™, is a government-grade voice encryption software for standard smartphones using U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) FIPS 140-2-certified security in an easy-to-use, downloadable application, making highly secure calling as easy as a normal phone call. Within the Cellcrypt Mobile software, customers are also able to send encrypted secure text-based messages to bypass the commonly used, and less secure, Short Message Service (SMS) available on today’s devices. By partnering with Fixmo, Cellcrypt is able to bring its secure voice and messaging solution to market within an integrated management and monitoring container to enable IT organisations to safely embrace the current wave of mobility.
