Cellcrypt partners with Fixmo on secure iPhone and Android comms
The partnership enables government agencies and enterprises to empower their employees with real-time collaboration and private voice calling on the latest iPhone and Android smartphones without compromising security, integrity or compliance.
Cellcrypt’s flagship product, Cellcrypt Mobile™, is a government-grade voice encryption software for standard smartphones using U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) FIPS 140-2-certified security in an easy-to-use, downloadable application, making highly secure calling as easy as a normal phone call. Within the Cellcrypt Mobile software, customers are also able to send encrypted secure text-based messages to bypass the commonly used, and less secure, Short Message Service (SMS) available on today’s devices. By partnering with Fixmo, Cellcrypt is able to bring its secure voice and messaging solution to market within an integrated management and monitoring container to enable IT organisations to safely embrace the current wave of mobility.
“Cellcrypt is pleased to announce this partnership today with Fixmo, a leading provider of mobile security and risk management solutions,” said Richard Greco, CEO of Cellcrypt. “Increasingly, we are speaking to customers who are looking for a complete solution to meet their entire mobile device security needs. The Cellcrypt-Fixmo partnership is in response to this growing trend, and we believe provides a highly effective and robust mobile security solution.”
“Fixmo and Cellcrypt share a common vision of enabling safe and compliant mobile computing in the workplace,” said Bruce Gilley, President of Fixmo. “Through the partnership, we are delivering the industry’s first defense-grade secure collaboration solution for iOS and Android with FIPS 140-2-certified encrypted email, voice, browsing, documents and productivity applications. We are thrilled to be partnering with Cellcrypt to enable our joint customers to embrace the full potential of mobility without compromise.”
