Cobham TCS is now DTC

The Company formerly known as Cobham TCS (Cobham Tactical Communications and Surveillance) - which included Spectronic Denmark A/S as part of its tactical communications and surveillance division - has changed to 'Domo Tactical Communications (DTC) Ltd' and Spectronic will continue to trade under the same name.

The change follows an announcement on 15 January 2016 by former parent company Cobham Plc that it had sold the business to Marlin Equity Partners, a leading private equity firm based in Los Angeles, California.

The company also announced that Spectronic A/S’s General Manager, Henrik Mortensen, will now also assume the position of General Manager for DTC. Mr. Mortensen stated, “With strong, long term customer relationships, the return to our strong historical brands of Domo, Micromill and Spectronic has been very well received in the market. DTC’s products and capabilities have been well established over a long period of time. Product design and innovation remain at the forefront of our future and will continue to be supported by the pioneering engineering team that was maintained throughout our time with Cobham.”

“As an independent company, DTC is now well-positioned to execute on its growth plan and continue to provide the most advanced, mission-critical surveillance solutions in the market,” said Lance Rosenzweig, Chairman and interim CEO of DTC.

This will enable DTC to go forward as a unified business unit, consolidating the brand names of Domo, Spectronic and Micromill.

With facilities in Whiteley, Hampshire, Domo Tactical Communications engineers and manufactures high performance surveillance, communications and broadcast systems, enabling its customers to securely monitor, communicate and share information in complex environments and demanding situations.
