DSEI heads for exhibitor record

Following a spate of stand space bookings at and after IDEX, the number of exhibitors committed to Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI) is rising at record pace, with the world's largest land, sea and air defence and security exhibition subsequently 94% sold out six months before it will be staged at ExCeL London from 15 -18 September 2015.

The latest exhibitors to sign up for DSEI 2015 illustrate the broad diversity of suppliers seeking to take advantage of the event's global appeal. They include defence electronics specialists Teledyne Marine; Cranfield University; the Academic Provider to the UK Ministry of Defence for all postgraduate education; software engineering specialists Teknovate; Stirling Dynamics, a supplier of mechatronic systems and specialist engineering design services for the aerospace and defence, space and marine sectors; and Kellstrom Defense Aerospace, which provides aftermarket logistics and inventory support for the C-130 Hercules and F-16 Falcon.

DSEI Event Director, Duncan Reid, said: "We are once again on course for the largest ever DSEI.

"The fact that the event continues to grow despite the squeeze on Western defence budgets highlights the fact that DSEI is a truly international exhibition, serving both the established and emerging markets for defence and security."
