Dyer & Butler gets its apprentices off to a good start

Dyer & Butler has marked National Apprenticeship week (3rd – 9th February) by hosting a series of breakfast mornings for its apprentices.

The breakfast sessions took place at Dyer & Butler’s head office in Nursling, Southampton, as well as its Heathrow and Gatwick offices and were designed to focus on the hugely positive contribution that apprentices are making to the business and the wider industry.

Dyer & Butler is a multi-disciplined engineering services specialist focused on essential infrastructure including airports, railways and highways.

Apprentices attending the events had an opportunity to network with peers and share their own experiences of the apprenticeship programme with directors and senior managers, many of whom began their careers as apprentices.

The sessions also provided an opportunity to celebrate some personal achievements of the apprentices attending.
Certificates of successful completion of the Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Construction Operations were presented to apprentices, Harry Bareham and Fernando Dennis. In addition, Charlie Grover was presented with the Level 2 AAT Foundation in Accounting certificate, for which he achieved a Distinction.

National Apprenticeship Week is an annual celebration of the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.
