EasyJet makes first flight to Iceland from Luton
In response to the popularity of the route, easyJet has committed to a full year-round service to Reykjavik to meet passenger demand, with seats for the 2012 winter season available from tomorrow (Thursday 29th March).
EasyJet flights will land at Keflavik International Airport, offering passengers a first glimpse of Iceland’s breathtaking scenery. Set against a backdrop of snow-topped mountains the capital, Reykjavik, is known for its weekend nightlife, health spas, world-class restaurants and countless museums.
Iceland is famed for its natural wonderland of spouting geysers, gigantic glaciers and the tranquil Blue Lagoon. During the winter months, travellers can experience the spectacular northern lights and in the summer months the island enjoys warm temperatures and up to 22 hours of daylight.

This is set to be one of our most successful destinations to date, and as a result we have committed to a year-round service.

EasyJet - the UK’s largest airline - is established as one of Europe's biggest airlines and it currently operates more than 200 aircraft across more than 600 routes. With the addition of the new route to Iceland, easyJet now flies to a total of 30 countries.
