Exova expands Nadcap accreditations

Following approval for an additional 24 codes, global testing group Exova's Teesside Laboratory now holds one of the largest Nadcap accredited scopes for metallic materials testing in Europe.

The new Nadcap accreditation for mechanical testing, metallography, sample preparation and chemical analysis offers a complete range of tests that can be performed on metallic materials used in the Aerospace industry.

New services within the full suite of Nadcap accredited tests include elevated temperature tensile testing up to 650 0C, alloy depletion and a doubled inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) capability.  The recognition comes in response to customer demand for an expansion in accredited services and is further confirmation of Exova’s role at the forefront of testing within the sector.
