Farsound Aviation wins contract with TS&S Aerospace

MRO supply chain and logistics company Farsound Aviation has secured a multi-million-dollar contract renewal with Turbine Services & Solutions Aerospace LLC (TS&S Aerospace), a specialised and leading maintenance, repair and overhaul provider for aircraft engines located in Abu Dhabi.

The contract represents the renewal of an existing agreement and business relationship between the two organisations.

David Skinner, Managing Director of Farsound Aviation, said of the renewed contract: “Farsound Aviation already enjoys a strong working relationship with TS&S Aerospace and we are thrilled that we have been entrusted with this contract renewal. Working with the business is very important to us as they are a leading independent engine MRO shop in the Middle East and have strong growth plans.”

Abdul Khaliq Saeed, CEO of TS&S, commented: “It’s due to strengths in partnerships with leading aerospace players such as Farsound Aviation, that robust global supply chains and ecosystems have been built to bolster the market. Today’s news is also testament to the leading independent MRO base established by TS&S Aerospace within the Abu Dhabi aviation community.”

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, TS&S is a leading solutions, maintenance, repair and overhaul provider for gas turbines and driven equipment. The company has built up 27 years of solid aerospace experience and supports customers across the UAE, MENA region and internationally.  

Farsound Aviation already has a strong presence in the Middle East with offices in Abu Dhabi. David Skinner added: “TS&S is already a leading independent Aero Engine MRO shop in the region, we are hopeful that this renewed contract will enable us to further expand our services portfolio in the region and beyond.”

Farsound Aviation supplies and supports more than 120 customers from the global aviation sector, including aero engine MRO organisations and companies from the UK and international defence, marine and petrochemical industries. The business manufactures and supplies small machined, pressed, formed and fabricated aerospace parts including kits, line feed bins, carousels and vending machines.
