Germania's 30th Anniversary B737 welcomed at Gatwick

Germania’s UK team and representatives from Gatwick Airport gathered to welcome the aircraft, which arrived resplendent in its unique Anniversary livery.
The aircraft (D-AGER), features a stylish green fuselage with a smart #flygermania hashtag picked out in white, together with the airline’s anniversary roundel on its tail fin. It will now operate out of the UK over the next few weeks, supporting both scheduled and charter services.
Earlier this year, Germania introduced the special aircraft to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The airline, which is headquartered in Berlin and whose UK office is located near Gatwick Airport, operates 22 aircraft throughout Europe and the Middle East. Its services fly travellers to destinations in the sun, major European cities, or to visit friends and relatives as both a scheduled airline and charter service.

Jerome Newton, Germania’s Sales Director for the UK, Ireland and France, said: “It was a very special moment when D-AGER touched down at Gatwick. Its external livery is unique, but its interior offers the high degree of space and comfort that our customers enjoy and have come to expect. We are delighted to be celebrating its arrival along with senior managers from Gatwick Airport and our own staff.”
Wayne Tomlinson, Gatwick Terminal Operations Manager, added: “It was a pleasure to welcome Germania’s 30th Anniversary aircraft to Gatwick and we look forward to seeing this unique B737 operate from the airport over the next few weeks.”
