GKN Aerospace secures Typhoon transparencies contract

GKN Aerospace has signed a six-year follow-on contract with BAE Systems for continued manufacture of Eurofighter Typhoon transparencies at its Luton facility, through to the end of 2030.

Under this contract, GKN Aerospace will continue to support the sustainment of the Typhoon fleet by ensuring the ongoing delivery of transparencies to the international customers. 

This agreement also guarantees uninterrupted production at the Luton facility, providing long-term stability to the order book well into the next decade.
