Goldilock Secure and Dorado Software unite to advance cybersecurity resilience

Goldilock Secure, the NATO-backed cybersecurity specialist behind FireBreak, has announced a strategic collaboration with Dorado Software, a solution provider in network and infrastructure deployment including management and automation, to accelerate cybersecurity resilience across critical infrastructure and the enterprise.

The strategic alliance combines Goldilock Secure’s physical network isolation tool with Dorado Software’s advanced orchestration to deliver improved control over secure connectivity globally. As part of the partnership, Dorado Software will become both a reseller and a tech partner for Goldilock Secure, meaning the latter will be better positioned to deliver better control, resilience and compliance for critical infrastructure and enterprise networks globally.

Today, global enterprises and critical infrastructure are exposed to increasingly sophisticated attacks from state-sponsored actors, opportunistic cyber criminals, and new vulnerabilities stemming from the convergence of IT and operational technology (OT) networks. To stay safe and protected, alternative approaches to cybersecurity are needed.

The strategic alliance between Goldilock Secure and Dorado Software aims to address this challenge, with the duo developing Goldilock Secure FireControl – a unified solution that blends Goldilock’s flagship hardware-based physical isolation technology with Dorado Software’s Cruz orchestration platform. Together, this powerful hardware/software mix provides instant, automated control and a new level of speed, resilience and compliance for complex, connected networks and critical systems at scale.

“Network managers and critical infrastructure operators alike are under pressure to maintain uptime, meet compliance requirements and defend against increasingly sophisticated attacks,” said Steve Brodie, Chief Revenue Officer at Goldilock Secure. “This partnership gives them the confidence to do all three. We’re helping organisations build resilience into their operations - ensuring they can stay connected when it’s safe to and disconnect instantly when it matters most.”

Tim Sebring, CEO at Dorado Software added: “Our customers are operating in an environment where the cost of downtime or disruption is measured in millions. We deliver solutions that move the needle for organisations’ operational challenges. This collaboration is about giving them greater certainty and control in the face of that risk, and we’re proud to do it alongside Goldilock both as a tech partner and a distributor/reseller.”

As part of the partnership, Dorado Software will also expand Goldilock Secure’s reach through its worldwide network of distributors, focusing on high-demand sectors such as energy, utilities, transportation, finance, telecom and manufacturing. Strong initial momentum is expected across North America and EMEA, as the duo works together to build awareness of its solution in key markets.

Steve said: “It’s time to up the ante when it comes to fending off bad actors from messing with our critical infrastructure – the backbone of society. Our partnership with Dorado Software is just the first step in a wider, long-term strategy to expand FireBreak’s capabilities and develop new features across Goldilock’s product suite that work for our customers while keeping them safe. We urgently need to change the mindset and approach to securing networks and infrastructure – and hopefully this collaboration further stokes the fire of a more pressing conversation on mitigating the dangers of overconnectivity.”
