NeuralTrust opens London office to tackle AI security risk in the UK

As UK enterprises race to move their AI agents into production faster than most security teams can govern them, NeuralTrust has deepened its UK presence to help address the associated risks, with the opening of a new London office.

NeuralTrust, a platform for securing AI agents, is opening a new, dedicated office in London. The move strengthens the company’s presence in the UK, where enterprises are deploying AI agents at pace and running into risks that traditional security tools were never built to catch.

The London office, located at 167 Great Portland Street, becomes NeuralTrust’s hub for UK customers, partners and hiring, supporting a growing base of financial services, technology and enterprise clients across the region. NeuralTrust already partners with major UK industry bodies, bringing the same expertise that secures agentic deployments for airlines and global banks, to companies across the UK.

Joan Vendrell, Co-Founder and CEO of Barcelona-headquartered NeuralTrust, said: “We built NeuralTrust because AI agents create a new kind of risk that traditional security tools weren’t designed to catch.

“The UK market understands that risk earlier than most and we want to be here to help solve it.”

How UK and international expansion has been funded

NeuralTrust raised a $20 million seed round in June 2026 – the largest cybersecurity seed financing raised by an EU company to date – to fund engineering, deepen integration across its platform and expand internationally.

The London office is a direct result of that growth and NeuralTrust plans to hire across sales, customer success and engineering in the UK over the coming months.

Why AI agent security and why now?

As companies move from experimenting with AI to running autonomous agents in production, they hit a problem traditional tools cannot see: agents take actions, call tools and touch data in ways standard security controls were never designed to monitor.

A single compromised or misconfigured agent can leak sensitive data, take an unauthorised action, or get manipulated through prompt injection, at machine speed and often with no human in the loop. Gartner predicts that by 2027, 40% of enterprises will demote or decommission autonomous AI agents because governance gaps only surface after something has already gone wrong in production.

Building a security layer for this new environment, NeuralTrust’s platform includes an AI gateway that sits between applications, agents, tools and models to enforce policy, control access and manage traffic, plus runtime security that detects and blocks malicious or unsafe agent behaviour as it happens, across every platform and endpoint, together with a red teaming product that proactively probes AI systems for vulnerabilities before attackers do. Together, they allow CISOs and security teams to run AI agents with the same rigour they already apply to every other system in the enterprise.

Airlines among those already implementing AI agents

Cameron Brown, UK Managing Director at NeuralTrust, said: “UK enterprises are moving fast with AI agents and they need a partner who understands both the opportunity and the risk.

“A dedicated London office lets us work even more closely with the banks, airlines and enterprises here that are already putting agents into production, so they can do it with the visibility and control it takes to do it safely.”
