Hume Whitehead wins EVA Air's PR account

Taiwan's leading airline carrier, EVA Air, has appointed Hume Whitehead as its PR agency for the UK and Ireland markets, effective from 1st October 2012, following a competitive pitch.

Renowned for its innovation, attention to detail, excellent levels of service and high safety policies, the carrier has tasked Hume Whitehead with increasing the awareness of its superb product and increasing traffic from the UK and Ireland markets.

The Hume Whitehead account team will be headed by director Richard Hume, with day-to-day PR activity supported by Account Manager, Vikki Moody. The win boosts the agency’s impressive travel and tourism portfolio which currently features a broad range of domestic and international tourism clients including tourist boards, tour operators and hotels.

EVA Air’s Group Executive Officer for PR, Mr. K.W. Nieh, said: “The Hume Whitehead team impressed us with their creative ideas and understanding of Asia. We are confident that they will help us increase traffic out of the important UK and Ireland markets, as well as raise the profile and awareness of our airline.”
