The IBA Insight aviation intelligence platform is designed to give users breadth, accuracy, and analytical superiority. IBA NetZero is a unique model for emissions analysis that empowers the aviation industry to report, benchmark and forecast emissions for a single aircraft or fleet, or even the entire commercial aviation market.

IBA has expanded the cost calculations NetZero delivers from market-based measures to include Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Carbon Capture. This allows Banks, Lessors and Airlines to quantify the risks and costs associated with decarbonisations for themselves and their counterparts and the ability to simulate the effect of different mitigation strategies.

To give a fleet specific, targeted projection of the journey to net zero by 2050, IBA NetZero users can now import fleet averages for specific airlines, lessors, or owners.

IBA NetZero can now also predict a cost per-seat, per-flight across different aircraft classes. This enables risk managers to understand the impact of decarbonisation programmes on ticket prices and costs by evaluating the business model impacts over the next 20 years, and the optimal fleet mix and operating model for the transition to net zero.

In addition to English, Mandarin and Japanese, IBA have also made their Insight and NetZero platforms more diverse by introducing versions in Spanish, French and Portuguese, open more global markets IBA’s proven aviation market intelligence. IBA has also enhanced its NetZero and Flights scenario ranking tables.

Ian Beaumont, CEO of IBA, says: “The journey to net zero is a vital one for all airlines, and planning and navigating that transition is complex and potentially fraught with challenge. The upgrades we have introduced will enable airlines and others in their eco-system to simulate and manage their net zero flight plans more effectively.”
