Intelliconnect secures fourth SC21 Silver Performance Standard Award

UK based specialist manufacturer of RF, waterproof and cryogenic connectors and cable harness assemblies, Intelliconnect (Europe) Ltd, has achieved the SC21 Silver Performance Standard Award for the fourth consecutive year.

This prestigious award is granted by the SC21 Board of ADS, the trade organisation for the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space Industry Supply Chain Programme and is designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. The programme has also been endorsed as part of the Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP’s) Competitiveness Charter.

This is a significant achievement which is nationally recognised and the SC21 Board has offered their congratulations to the entire team at Intelliconnect for obtaining this important recognition award as part of their continuing supply chain excellence journey.  
 
Over its lifetime, the SC21 programme has had over 880 participating companies signed up to its principles and engaged in engaged in demonstrating their continuous performance improvement.

Launched 14 years ago SC21 has grown into the largest Supply Chain Improvement programme in the UK Aerospace and Defence sector. The programme is endorsed by all major UK Aerospace and Defence companies. It is managed by ADS at a national and international working with SC21 participants, prime contractors, regions and regional associations, strategic partners, accredited practitioners, training partners, providers, assessors and ambassadors. Recognition can occur only after all of the SC21 required framework elements have been proved to meet the required criteria in terms of delivery, quality, sustainable improvement and the associated improvement frameworks including business and manufacturing excellence.

Meeting the requirements of the SC21 accreditation provides Intelliconnect with an important tool to manage and improve the company and has already had a positive effect on their business. Intelliconnect’s cable division are specialist manufacturers of high quality, high frequency microwave cables including triaxial assemblies, semi-rigid, semi-flexible and cryogenic cables as well as standard RG/LMR type products. Cables can be waterproofed to IP68 and include special features including phase matching and ruggedised assemblies for use in harsh environments.
