Key air services to Oslo restored from Aberdeen

Loganair, the UK’s largest regional airline and largest provider of flights at Aberdeen Airport, is introducing six flights per week to Oslo Gardermoen Airport from Sunday-Friday. Ticket prices include a contribution to the airline's GreenSkies initiative, which offsets all flight carbon emissions through internationally accredited carbon offsetting schemes.
The year-round link between Aberdeen and the Norwegian capital will be operated by Loganair’s 49-seat Embraer 145 Regional Jet aircraft, with weekday flights leaving Aberdeen at 08:30, and arriving in Oslo at 11:05 local time. The westbound flight will depart Oslo at 11:40 local time and arrive in Aberdeen at 12:20. Sunday flights will depart Aberdeen at the later time of 13:30 and leave Oslo at 16:40 local time, enabling both leisure and business travellers to make the most of their weekend.
The route is particularly important for the energy sector, which has business interests in both cities. 60% of Norway’s total international exports (as of 2021) have come from its oil and gas sector, which is continually going from strength to strength.

The route from Aberdeen to Oslo is Loganair’s latest international Norwegian connection this year, following the revival of flights from Edinburgh to Bergen and Stavanger in June following the pandemic.
