Kromek wins £1.7m contract under UK Government Framework

Kromek has received its first contract, worth £1.7 million, under the UK Government’s Radiological Nuclear Detection Framework for the procurement of radiological nuclear detection equipment and supporting services for the Home Office.

As noted in the Group’s announcement of 23rd September 2024, Kromek is pre-qualified to receive orders under three Framework categories, covering the supply of handheld, wearable and large volume static radiation detectors. 

The Group’s new contract, which is part of the first procurement round under the four-year Framework, is for the supply of Kromek’s D3S-ID wearable radiation detector and ongoing training and product maintenance.

The total value for this contract is £1.7 million, of which a significant majority is scheduled to be received in the Group’s current financial year and which will contribute towards the expected revenue growth in the CBRN Detection segment.
