APS is a US Department of the Army programme in which equipment sets are stored around the globe for use when a combatant commander requires additional capabilities.

The extended partnership will see more than 1,200 employees continue to work on sites including Mannheim and Dulmen in Germany, Zutendaal in Belgium, Livorno in Italy and Powidz in Poland, filling roles including vehicle mechanics, supply chain technicians, warehouse operatives and fuel specialists to support the APS mission in improving deterrence capabilities and providing additional combat power for contingency operations, training and exercises.

To date, M&E Global has deployed large numbers of personnel on long-term contracts on behalf of Amentum and also provided support personnel for Temporary Duty Assignments (TDAs) to address increased mission requirements due to rising military training exercises across Europe.

Gordon Woodward, Managing Director at M&E Global, said: “We are pleased to have extended our collaboration with Amentum. This agreement reaffirms our commitment to delivering exceptional support to the APS mission and highlights the dedication and expertise of our existing and growing team in Germany. We look forward to continuing to play a vital role in supporting military operations across Europe.”

M&E Global’s dedicated management team in Germany ensures seamless coordination between its UK headquarters and clients on-site. This effort is bolstered by several support roles who assist with personnel matters, and the provision of accommodation, providing crucial support for operational success.
