MAEL FAA approval extended

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), the engineering division of The Monarch Group, announced today that they have extended their US Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval to their Birmingham and Copenhagen base maintenance facilities.

Monarch Aircraft Engineering’s FAA approval now covers Luton, Birmingham, Copenhagen and Manchester bases.

Already maintaining US registered aircraft at Luton and Manchester, this will allow the UK based MRO to further extend their service offering to all their base maintenance facilities.

Commenting on the approval, Ian Bartholomew, Managing Director for Monarch Aircraft Engineering said: “This further supports our strategic plan to explore new and exciting markets and grow our customer base from North America.”
