In his two prior roles within the Department, he served as First Secretary for Defence and Security for the UAE and Kuwait, in both cases leading defence and industrial collaborations, building strategic partnerships and intergovernmental contact networks.

“Rob’s experience in the UAE and Saudi Arabia will prove invaluable as we continue to partner with local organisations, exchange technology and knowhow, strengthen industrial partnerships and deliver engineering capabilities in line with shared strategic priorities.”

Bricker has lived in the Gulf throughout his professional career, and will be based in Marshall’s Abu Dhabi regional headquarters.

Bricker added, “I’m delighted to be joining Marshall at a pivotal moment in its regional growth. Across the Middle East, partnership is the key word and we have the ambition to drive it forward.

“It’s an exciting time and I look forward to continuing the development of mutually beneficial cooperation across the region.”
