“We’re proud to have received this further contract which extends the relationship of more than 20 years between Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites and Thales UK, where we have provided our leading composite structures to support the Royal Navy and various other International Customer’s Submarines”, commented Carl Morse, Managing Director, Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites.

Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites originally conducted the design of the composite structures on behalf of Thales UK, whose system provides an unrivalled blend of operational capability and reliability.

The composite structures provides a reduction in the load on the Optronic Mast, while also contributing to reduced acoustic, visual, radar and thermal signature that decrease the counter detection risk.

Marshall’s capability in the design and test of such composites structures has been a core aspect of their services for many years and they continue to update their capabilities for next generation requirements.
