MetOcean and Houbara partner at IDEX to advance UAE defence solutions

MetOcean Telematics and Houbara Defence & Security have signed a new partnership agreement during IDEX 2023 in Abu Dhabi, aimed at delivering advanced Iridium-based defence products to military and government customers in the UAE, which will enable the delivery of products that cater to naval training, search & rescue (SAR) and special forces applications.

At the heart of this partnership is a commitment to deliver innovative solutions that address the most critical challenges facing the UAE's defence industry. As a leading provider of oceanographic and defence solutions, MetOcean has already established itself as a trusted supplier of products such as the Iridium Self Locating Datum Marker Buoy (iSLDMB) to UAE customers.
