The development enhances NEIDA’s engagement with recognised defence procurement networks and reinforces its alignment with established supplier assurance standards used across aerospace, defence and regulated industries.
JOSCAR accreditation provides independent validation of NEIDA’s governance, risk management, compliance and operational controls. It is widely recognised within the defence and aerospace sectors as part of supplier qualification processes, helping to streamline due diligence and reduce duplication in onboarding.
NEIDA has also become a member of MAKE UK Defence, which provides NEIDA with access to a specialist UK network focused on defence SME engagement, supply chain collaboration and procurement insight.
These developments have served to strengthen NEIDA’s position within the UK defence supply chain and support more efficient engagement with procurement teams and prime contractors.
NEIDA are a UK contract manufacturer of precision turned and milled components, producing over 250,000,000 components per year from 0.3mm to 250mm diameter in ferrous, non-ferrous and exotic materials, accredited to ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 and now JOSCAR.
