Nemco gains ATEX accreditation

Hertfordshire based contract electronics manufacturer Nemco Limited's Quality Management System has now been extended - in consultation with David Ford QA Ltd - to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 80079-34:2011 and the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC for the subcontract manufacture of Ex Equipment assemblies.

Nemco Limited already hold AS9100C aviation, space and defence accreditation and are SC21 supply chain award winners.

Commenting on this latest announcement Managing Director Dave Pearce said: “Extending our already comprehensive Quality Management System to include the requirements of the ATEX directive will further enhance the service we can offer to our existing and potentially new Customers.”

Aircraft deliveries see strongest half-year figures since 2019

Commercial aircraft deliveries in the first half of 2025 rose by nearly a fifth compared to the same period in 2024, according to ADS, marking the strongest January-to-June delivery performance since 2019, with an increase of nearly 100 deliveries compared to the same period last year.
