New finance director at BMT Defence Services

BMT Defence Services Ltd (BMT) has announced the appointment of Julie Stone as finance director.

Julie (above) joins BMT with 21 years’ experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining BMT, she spent eight years at global communications provider Alcatel-Lucent, where she simultaneously held the posts of chief financial officer and chief operating officer for the company’s UK and Ireland business and the company’s global Vodafone business.

Julie is an experienced and commercially focused Finance Director, involved in shaping business strategy through to vast knowledge of corporate governance, compliance and controls. She has extensive experience in both commercial finance and operations management within a multitude of environments from start-ups through to global multi-billion euro organisations, working in partnership with the CEO to deliver solid revenue growth targets.
