Parker Meggitt signs SMARTSupport contract with Lufthansa Technik AG

Parker Aerospace today announced that Parker Meggitt has signed a five year multimillion SMARTSupport contract extension with Lufthansa Technik AG for the supply of spare parts and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) services, covering a broad range of Parker Meggitt products across multiple civil aircraft and engine platforms.

Lufthansa Technik AG is a leading global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification services for civil and commercial aircraft and this five year contract marks the continuation of a longstanding relationship between the two companies.
 
Stewart Watson, President of Parker Meggitt’s Services & Support division, said: “This contract further emphasises the strength of our working partnership with the Lufthansa Technik team. We are proud to be able to continue supporting their world class repair facilities and technologies and we very much look forward to forging a stronger future together as we build our global capabilities to serve the new emerging fleet of narrow body aircraft such as Max and NEO.”

"Our customers will benefit comprehensively from this new agreement as we combine Lufthansa Technik's maintenance, repair, overhaul and engineering capabilities with the manufacturer knowledge of Parker Meggitt to provide top technical component services.”

Parker Meggitt joined the Parker Aerospace Group in September 2022 following the successful acquisition of Meggitt plc. Parker Meggitt employs more than 9,000 people at over 37 manufacturing facilities and regional offices worldwide.
