Pattonair's consignment stores solution goes live at Eaton's aerospace facility

Pattonair, a global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, has announced the successful implementation of phases 1 and 2 of its consignment stores solution at Eaton's aerospace facility in Titchfield, Hampshire. The first two phases went live on the 20th June 2012.

As part of the project, Pattonair has established an on-site facility, known as a forward stocking location, at the Titchfield site. The facility incorporates Pattonair’s own Warehouse management location system and benefits from full network connectivity. Currently handling approximately 1,000 different part numbers, the system is updated three times a day with work orders from Eaton, with stock being replenished every 24 hours.
