Peter Bols appointed Chief Financial Officer at MBDA

Peter Bols has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of MBDA, replacing Julian Whitehead who has moved to EADS Cassidian.

In taking up his role which reports directly to Antoine Bouvier the group’s CEO, Peter will also become a member of the MBDA Executive Committee.
 

Peter (above) comes to MBDA from EADS where he held a number of senior financial roles, most recently within EADS Corporate Finance. Previously he was the CFO of the AirTanker Consortium and before that, the CFO of EADS Missile Division.

Before joining industry, Peter enjoyed a nine year career with the British Army, serving as an officer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers with 5 Airborne Brigade and 72 Aircraft workshop in support of the BAOR helicopter fleet.
 
Regarding the appointment, Antoine Bouvier said: “With Peter’s wealth of experience, both from within the industry and from the customer viewpoint, I am convinced that he will make an immediate contribution as we continue to advance our business. My colleagues and I on the MBDA Executive Committee are all looking forward to working with Peter in the years to come.”
