Details on the potential student loan funding available have also been finalised. The Degree programme was developed by the Airline Skills Partnership (ASP), Middlesex University and CTC Aviation and completed full accreditation in September 2013.
School leavers can now apply for this degree in exactly the same manner as their other degree choices. This means that students no longer have to choose between studying for a degree or undertaking integrated commercial pilot training – they can now do both. Alternatively, individuals can apply directly through the CTC Wings programme.
Students can apply to fund their studies through the grant of UK government loan support (see www.ctcwings.com/BScHon s for details and www.slc.co.uk for terms and eligibility criteria) enabling a wider range of individuals to pursue their dream of becoming an airline pilot.
All successful CTC Wings applicants can commence training with CTC Aviation and incorporate the degree into their training, subject to meeting the specific Middlesex University entry criteria which are listed on the CTC Wings website.

As easyJet’s preferred cadet training provider, CTC Aviation was recently chosen by to deliver the CTC-easyJet MPL cadet programme.
The entire British Airways Future Pilot Programme is also managed by CTC Aviation and the company works with a further 15 CTC Wings Partner Airlines around the world. Applicants to the ‘CTC Wings’ programme will complete their training at CTC Aviation’s industry leading training facilities in the United Kingdom and New Zealand on the company’s fleet of G1000 equipped Cessna and Diamond aircraft and state-of-the-art Boeing and Airbus simulators.
