QinetiQ in graduate boost

QinetiQ, one of the UK's leading technology solutions and services providers, has announced it is increasing its graduate intake for 2013 as part of its commitment to 'inspiring a generation' of engineers, scientists and technologists.

The FTSE 250 defence and technology company is increasing graduate intake from 60 to 75, providing welcome encouragement to talented graduates during a time of uncertainty in the job market.

QinetiQ Group HR Director Dave Bradley said: “We want to find the best graduate talent out there. It’s a time of uncertainty for graduates and under 25s and we want to show our commitment to those who have worked hard and are keen on a bright future that can really make a difference. The UK has always been a centre for innovation and QinetiQ is playing a key role in maintaining this. We aim to recruit those graduates who want to contribute to this on-going legacy.

The long established graduate programme, listed in ‘The Guardian UK 300’, provides applicants with a structured two year programme that helps provide them with the skills to become future business leaders. The scheme is fiercely competitive for places and attracts the best science, maths, engineering, business/project management and IT graduates.
