QinetiQ to advance USAF C-5 fleet protection

The US Defense Logistics Agency has awarded QinetiQ US a $7.7 million contract to provide survivability solutions for the US Air Force (USAF) C-5 Galaxy fleet.

QinetiQ US will deliver over 40 LAST Armor sets to protect the remaining operational C-5 aircraft through their planned service life.

This contract supports Air Mobility Command's mission requirements and demonstrates continued confidence in QinetiQ US’ aircraft protection technologies.
