Royal Thai Air Force students graduate from MASS course

Six students from the Royal Thai Air Force have graduated from the MASS (a Cohort plc company) Electronic Warfare (EW) Course.

This EW course took place over six months, the first two of which were undertaken in Bangkok, and then continued in Alumina Court, MASS’s Lincoln facility, until completion. The students ranged in rank from Flight Sergeant to Wing Commander. This is the second EW course MASS has run for the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).

The graduation ceremony took place at the Washingborough Hall Hotel in Lincoln and was attended by Air Vice-Marshal Sopon of the RTAF, Andy Thomis, Chief Executive Officer Cohort plc, Ashley Lane, Managing Director MASS, Chris Stanley, EWOS Director MASS and Lennart Zettergren from the Gripen Project.

Ashley Lane, MD MASS, said “We congratulate these students on their graduation, which is the fruit of their hard work and which demonstrates the high quality of MASS’s expert trainers, instruction and facilities. We wish these graduates the best of luck in their future careers and we look forward to continuing our training work with the Royal Thai Air Force.”

Andy Thomis, CEO Cohort plc, added “This is an important milestone to mark the successful completion of the Electronic Warfare course by our six students and I am delighted that Air Vice Marshal Sopon and such a senior team are here to do this. I am also very pleased to be able to congratulate this very successful class of students on their achievements over the last six months.”

Air Vice-Marshal Sopon, Royal Thai Air Force, expressed his sincere thanks for the professional AdvancedEW training delivered to his RTAF Officers, stating that the six-month course has strengthened the existing MASS/RTAF relationship.
