RAF Lossiemouth in Morayshire is the home to two squadrons of Tornado GR4s, the Tornado Operational Conversion Unit and a flight of Sea King helicopters for search and rescue duties.
RAF Kinloss, also in Morayshire and until recently the home of the RAF’s Nimrod fleet, serves as a relief runway for emergencies and training for RAF aircraft. RAF Leuchars in Fife is the home to two squadrons of Typhoon fighters, a University Air Squadron and an Air Experience Flight.
Richard Barber, managing director, Safeskys Ltd. said: “Safeskys is proud to have won this contract which has further reinforced Safeskys value for money and its professional status and standing as the World’s largest airfield and airport bird control company. We are equally as proud to be allowed to support the RAF’s combat, rescue and training aircraft in Scotland by keeping the aircrew and aircraft safe from damage caused by birds.”
