This award recognises SCS’s commitment to supporting its employees serving in the volunteer reserve forces and was presented by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Berkshire.
SaBRE is a Ministry of Defence marketing campaign, set up in October 2002 with the goal of gaining and maintaining the support of employers of Reservists.
SaBRE was created on the understanding that the better an employer's knowledge of the role of Reservists and the skills they develop, the greater will be that employer's support for the Reserve Forces.
Bill Bird, managing director of SCS, said: “I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of SCS. We are incredibly proud of the work our Reservists do; they are exceptionally committed people and their experience and training give them the skills and qualities that any employer would value and respect.”
