Seraphim Space and Generation Space now have Leidos as a new sponsor, bringing added benefit to the pioneering companies taking part in Mission 12.

The accelerator is a three-month programme that supports SpaceTech companies from inception to IPO. Through the programme, the cohort will have the opportunity to develop key relationships with some of the world’s leading corporates and agencies operating in the space sector as the startups look to raise capital to commercialise their technology.

The cohort will be joining an impressive alumni of over 100 SpaceTech companies who have collectively raised over $2.2 billion in funding and have an enterprise value of more than $10 billion. Eighty-six per cent of companies that go through the accelerator raise within 12 months and 93% of companies have been successfully funded, with the average post-accelerator raise being $4 million.

The accelerator’s unique position at the epicentre of the new space ecosystem attracts startups from all over the world. Mission 12 is expanding Seraphim’s global offering with an APAC-specific portal due to the increase in applications and the quality of startups coming from the region.

Applications for Mission 12 close Sunday 30th July at 11:59 BST for Seraphim Space: www.f6s.com/generation-space-mission-12-americas/apply

Rob Desborough, Managing Partner at Seraphim Space/Generation Space and CEO of the Accelerator, said: “We are excited to open our applications for a new group of startups to be part of a global alumni of world changing companies. Our network and reach now strengthened with the addition of Leidos as a partner.

"Mission 12 will be yet another milestone for us, as we expand our APAC offering for the first time. Mission 12 is a true representation of the global nature of the SpaceTech industry today.”
