Stratajet lands top five spot in Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50

Stratajet has been ranked amongst the UK's leading technology companies in the prestigious Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50.

Stratajet today announced that it ranked fifth in the 2017 Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50. The list, ranking the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the UK, is based on percentage revenue growth over the last four years. Stratajet grew 3,634% during this period.

The Founder of Stratajet, Jonny Nicol, a former RAF pilot and military officer, credits this impressive growth rate with the company’s unique ability to offer fliers accurate prices of private jets in seconds and instant booking.

This is only possible thanks to a cutting-edge technology that can filter through all of the necessary variables that go into calculating the cost of a private jet flight. Giving fliers the means of comparing and booking from a range of aircraft, right at their fingertips, Stratajet is opening up private jet travel to a wider audience of travellers.

Nicol said: "Ranking so highly amongst such an impressive roster of companies is testament to the hard work that the team has put in over the last four years. We have strived to develop a revolutionary product that can bring private jet travel to the masses, through technology that is unrivalled in the space. It is therefore immensely rewarding to see this hard work recognised and we are grateful to Deloitte for the honour."

David Cobb, lead partner for the Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50, said: “The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 gives great profile to technology companies and is internationally recognised as being one of the most important business awards in the sector.

“The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 awards are an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements over the last four years.

“The 50 fastest growing UK technology companies, as ranked by Deloitte, generated around £1bn in in total annual revenues in the year 2016/17, employing more than 9,000 people, including 1,800 in R&D alone. The Deloitte UK technology Fast 50 recorded an average four-year growth rate of 3,756%.

“The awards are an opportunity for businesses to gain recognition for their successes and achievements. This year’s ranking highlights the importance of being innovative, recruiting highskilled talent and finding a niche product or service.”
