After recent structural organisational changes, the opportunity arose for Robert to become General Manager, managing around 40 employees in the UK and Norway. Robert is responsible for developing and increasing sales and opportunities for the division, by working with the other global OpCos.

Robert Brandvik commented: “It is an exciting time at Swire Energy Services Aviation. Over the last two years we have made several investments and increased our portfolio of service offerings. We have also been working closely with other SES offices around the world and are now beginning to see the results of this, with sales and opportunities for Aviation coming in from all corners of the world. It is only up to ourselves to create our success and I cannot wait to get started.”

In further strategic moves for the Aviation business, Nathan Munro has joined SES as Business Development Manager, based in Aberdeen and supporting the development of the Aviation business across all of the global OpCos.

Prior to this appointment, Nathan joined SES in 2016 as a Test/Lifting Engineer, before moving into the Commercial Business in 2019 as a Sales Engineer and being promoted to Business Development Manager for the UK. His new role will support the development of SES’s Aviation Services, growing our unique offering of services and developing these opportunities with our clients all over the world.

Nathan Munro said: “Delighted to have joined Swire Energy Services for a second time, managing and supporting the development of our unique aviation division. SES have a long history in the aviation industry and were able to acquire Helifuel AS in 2020, giving SES the opportunity to become an OEM for the first time. With our rich history and unique service offering, this opportunity is one that gives me great excitement as the new business development manager, as there is huge scope to expand this department.”
