TechPoint unveils new HQ

TechPoint has opened a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Basingstoke.

The cutting-edge site represents the company's vision of the factory of the future, combining advanced manufacturing capabilities with sustainable operations and inclusive workplace design. 

The new Basingstoke facility provides comprehensive electronics manufacturing services, featuring world-class Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production lines, advanced inspection systems, dedicated design support capabilities, rapid prototyping services and complete supply chain solutions.

"This facility embodies our commitment to innovation and excellence in electronics manufacturing," said Perry Duffill, CEO of TechPoint. "By bringing together a range of services in one state-of-the-art location, we're positioning TechPoint to better serve our customers while setting new standards for sustainable manufacturing in the UK." 

The facility has been designed around Industry 4.0 principles, incorporating smart manufacturing technologies throughout the production process. It also features a Lean Dojo area, an innovation centre and customer experience spaces.  

Environmental responsibility is at the core of the facility's design, with ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles integrated throughout operations. The site features sustainable building materials, energy efficient systems, and waste reduction initiatives, making it one of the UK's most environmentally advanced electronics manufacturing facilities.

Beyond its technological capabilities, the new headquarters prioritizes creating an inclusive workplace environment where employees can thrive. The facility includes modern collaborative spaces and amenities designed to support a diverse workforce and promote wellbeing. 

The September 2025 opening marked a significant milestone for TechPoint and represents a substantial investment in the UK's electronics manufacturing sector. The facility is expected to strengthen the country's position in advanced manufacturing.
