Continued engineering and technology investments have seen TT evolve and expand on their US footprint in recent years, creating centres of excellence for military power supplies and magnetics. This, coupled with TT’s global network of vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities, leaves the company positioned to deliver a variety of advanced solutions for customers supporting major aerospace and defence programmes.

“TT’s growing position in the global aerospace and defence industry is a direct result of our heritage, engineering investment and commitment to developing strategic partnerships with technology innovators,” said Michael Leahan, COO, TT Electronics. “Strategically, the acquisitions of Torotel, Ferranti P&C, as well as the Covina Power Business Unit from Excelitas in the last three years, have strengthened TT’s power offering, expanding our product and technology capability toenable us to deliver increased value to customers.

“TT has a unique capacity for innovation. Our ability to design, engineer and manufacture complete systems is what continues to forge our reputation in the military power supply market, a reputation reinforced by our presence on many of the world-leading defence platforms including Lockheed’s F35 programme and BAE Systems’ latest 6th generation fighter -‘Tempest’.”

Attendees can also gain further insight into the company’s recently-announced partnership with Honeywell Aerospace, central to the design of a new power supply for next-generation inertial navigation units.
