Vector Aerospace is a Rolls-Royce T56/501D Authorised Maintenance Centre and over the past 30 years has established an extensive customer base in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Asia Pacific region. Building on this impressive heritage, Vector has developed a global offering comprising full overhaul, repair, modification and testing for the T56/501D series. This 'Total Propulsion Solution' offering includes Lockheed Martin QEC nacelles and UTC Aerospace (Hamilton Sundstrand) propellers, together with all fuel systems and engine accessories.

Vector's competitive position is underpinned by a comprehensive range of in-house repair schemes for high-cost engine components, a key element of the company's 'repair over replace' philosophy. Authorised processes include electrophoretic coating (AEP) and molybdenum plasma spray. Other benefits for Vector customers include an AOG scheme to reduce turnaround times and worldwide product support. The company has also introduced a refurbished and lean support capability for fuel accessories and propellers.

Vector Aerospace UK Managing Director Michael Tyrrell said: "This latest success is a significant milestone in the growth of our international military business. An important factor is our ability to partner with local support organisations and this is where our track record stands us in such good stead."
