Wallop Defence Systems staff will be on hand to talk about its comprehensive portfolio of airborne countermeasures including the latest 26mm Chaff and IR flares and the RR180 Dual Shot Chaff cartridge, which effectively doubles the capacity of the dispenser to give increased operational effectiveness by reducing ‘on ground’ time for reloading.

The company's new Anti Piracy deterrent TRITON, a simple to use on-board rocket launching system for commercial maritime vessels will be featured on the stand.

TRITON Launches illuminating or noise making rockets up to 1.8km from the ship to alert the pirates they have been discovered before they get close enough to attack.

Dave Connors, Business Development Director of Wallop Defence Systems, said: “Piracy is currently costing the global market over $10billion, Triton is a highly effective, low cost system which gives the user a real and significant advantage in these threat situations.  We are looking forward to attending LIMA 2011 and showing our important Asia Pacific markets how Wallop Defence Systems can help them get the best value from their countermeasures budgets.”
