WDS set to welcome global defence sector

With the organisers of the World Defense Show (WDS) having to build extra halls in time for the event next month to meet additional demand, Advance's editor-in-chief Alan Peaford MBE asked WDS CEO Andrew Pearcey what we can expect from the inaugural show in Riyadh (6th-9th March 2022).

WDS chief executive Andy Pearcey told Alan Peaford precisely why the global defence industry is making its way to the Saudi Arabian capital for the defence industry mega-event and why Saudi SMEs are flocking to the innovative new site to show their wares and capabilities.

The demand from the global defence sector has led to the organisers having to increase the purpose built venue's capacity by 14,400 square metres to accommodate those wishing to participate.
